Route

Driving on the A7 in the direction of Drachten, take exit 30 to Ureterp. Drive along the shopping street, past the church and a petrol station. After 200 m, after the second petrol station/motorcycle shop, turn right in the direction of Wijnjewoude. You are now driving on Mounleane. After about 2 km, turn right (de Mersken Ureterp) and after 1.5 km turn right again at the first opportunity (Merskenreed). Oerterper Gastenkeamers is located on the right, about 100 m past No. 7. Please note that most navigation systems do not indicate the correct route for the last stretch.

Take the train to Heerenveen. Continue by bus (line 10) to Beetsterzwaag. You can be picked up in Beetsterzwaag by prior arrangement. Please note: because of the rural location (see photo) you have to rely on a bike or your legs for transportation.
